Meet Natalie

Natalie writes the SPNJ Travel blog from Bangkok, drawing mainly on her own visits and experience organising travel for her family, including her two children.

A Thai-English perspective

Half English and half Thai, Natalie was born in the UK and moved to Thailand in 2000. She studied in Thailand before returning to the UK to complete a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management at Kingston University. After graduating, she moved back to Thailand and has lived here ever since.

Planning trips with a family in mind

As a mother of two, Natalie considers the practical details that shape a family holiday: food options, things for the children to do and the facilities at the accommodation. Koh Chang and Hua Hin are among the places she visits with her family.

She is also the sibling who remained in Thailand, so when her family visits from overseas each year, she arranges their trips.

Her role at SPNJ Travel

Natalie works on the administrative side of SPNJ Travel and writes the blog. Her articles focus on practical Thailand travel planning, particularly the questions that come up when organising a trip with children. Most draw on her own visits, with research used to support the planning details.
